  The Diplomat has been more than a restaurant in Fredericton for years -it's an "institution". I remember years ago that the Diplomat was packed in the wee hours of the morning, with people coming from shows, clubs and pubs. Great place to conclude the evening with great food. The chiense buffet is among the best. Only one star missing because I am finding the prices a bit on the high side. These days that's an unavoidable part of life, but if their prices become out of reach for many of us, we simply can't go there as often as we'd like.

  Not the best Chinese buffet I've been to. Probably one more steam table would improve the selection. I went on a weekday, not sure what extras come on the weekend for the increased price. I would think that ordering the food fresh may be a better choice over the buffet, although I feel like the $20 for the buffet is reasonable. The service is very good though, my colleague was unhappy with his meal and they took the correct steps to make it right as best they could.

  Ate in the evening after the buffet had closed. Friendly staff. Food came quick but my $19 lobster roll was not worth it. The lobster was tasty enough and the potion size was average. However, I don't think this is the best place to enjoy New Brunswick seafood. Friendly staff.

  Always eat here. All the workers are extremely pleasant. And a perfect environment for ANY occasion. Also very reasonably priced food that is always amazing.

  The Curry was delicious. 1/2 portion of Pork Curry for Lunch. Our server was very pleasant.
